Getting Started with OnVerb

Welcome to OnVerb. This guide will help you get set up quickly and make the most of your chat credits and features.

1) Create your account

  • Visit the sign‑up page and register with your email.
  • Verify your email if prompted.
  • Log in to access your dashboard.

2) Choose a plan and credits

  • Go to Dashboard → Subscriptions to pick a plan.
  • You can also buy one‑off chat credits on the Billing page.
  • Your current plan and remaining credits are shown on the Dashboard.

3) Start your first chat

  • Go to Dashboard → Start New Chat.
  • Pick a model (e.g. Gemini, GPT, Claude). Each model varies in capability and cost.
  • Set a temperature:
    • Low: precise, consistent answers.
    • Medium: balanced output.
    • High: creative, varied responses.
  • Ask your question or paste content to analyse.
  • System prompts shape the AI’s behaviour and context.
  • Choose from preset prompts or create your own under Dashboard → Prompt.
  • Save and re‑use prompts to keep your workflow consistent.

5) Upload files (optional)

  • Go to Dashboard → File Upload to add documents for reference.
  • Supported formats are displayed on the upload page.
  • Use uploaded documents to inform chats and analysis.

6) Manage your content

  • Saves: store useful outputs and revisit them later.
  • Pages: curate information and share internally if needed.
  • CSV Processor: process structured data with AI assistance.

7) Keep track of usage

  • My Usage shows recent activity and credit consumption.
  • Billing displays invoices, payment methods and add‑on credits.

8) Earn with referrals

  • Share your unique referral link from Dashboard or Settings.
  • When a friend subscribes, you receive bonus chat tokens.
  • In Settings, see who you’ve referred and when rewards were granted.

9) Privacy and security

  • Your privacy is a priority. Review our Privacy help pages for data handling details.
  • You can manage cookies at Dashboard → Cookies.

10) Tips for better results

  • Be specific: state your goal, audience and desired format.
  • Provide context: paste key details or use a system prompt.
  • Iterate: ask follow‑up questions to refine results.
  • Save good outputs and prompts for future use.

Troubleshooting

  • Model issues or slow responses: try a different model or reduce temperature.
  • Credit problems: check My Usage and Billing.
  • Can’t find features: use the Dashboard quick links or the top navigation.
